Self-Care during the Pandemic

Find Time to Unwind...

I’m sure we can all agree that this pandemic has been very difficult to adjust to. Wearing masks, social distancing, not being able to see and spend time with friends and families, and constant news updates of loved ones that have succumb to the virus. It all could in poor habits such as overeating, drinking, depression, poor sleep schedules, and lack of focus. I strongly urge you to focus on improving your self-care. When was the last time you tried meditation? How about yoga? Even while at home quarantining, there are tons of options to try. The possibilities are endless!  Make time each day for you! Even if it’s only 10 minutes, use that time to focus on…you. Take that bubble bath and turn on your favorite tunes. Grab that new book that you heard about. Go sit on your porch, front steps, or backyard and take in the beautiful sun. If you need to take a drive, get in the car and drive without a destination (just make sure you have enough gas 😊). Enjoy your day, on purpose!
